E-Lab 2025 Social Venture Residential
The E-Lab Social Venture Residential, run in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation programme and Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation, at Cambridge Judge Business School, is designed to support students of all disciplines in developing sustainable and ethical projects with a positive social and environmental impact.
This residential is an inspiring introduction to the social venture sector. In an inclusive, supportive and friendly atmosphere, students will have the opportunity to share and test their ideas with others and learn from the experience of successful social entrepreneurs.

About the E-Lab
Established in September 2021 thanks to a generous donation by Malcolm McKenzie (KC 1977), the Entrepreneurship Lab is designed to support those wishing to explore a career path in innovation and business. Our year-long programme offers the students mentoring and practical advice, and culminates in the opportunity to win a prize to take their ideas forward. This cross-college initiative has been encouraged by our generous funders, including David Sainsbury (KC 1959) and the Gatsby Charitable Foundation, and aims to increase the impact we can make across collegiate Cambridge and for our students’ future.
About the Mastercard Foundation Programme
The Mastercard Foundation Programme provides bright students from under-represented communities in Africa with a fully funded opportunity to complete their Master's training, develop transformative leadership skills and contribute to climate resilience and sustainable futures in Africa. Ultimately, the mission of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars programme at the University of Cambridge is to contribute to the development of a transformative network of young people, critical to driving sustainable change. Over 500 Scholars from the African continent will be enrolled in the programme between 2023 and 2030 to undertake a wide range of Masters courses.
