Large Language Models
(LLM) x Law Hackathon
This hackathon is the first expansion of well-established initiative run by
CodeX, the Stanford Center for Legal Informatics.

What?
Students of different backgrounds (STEM, law, linguistics, business etc.) spend a day using LLMs to develop solutions for real-world legal problems. To assist, problem statements were suggested by:
Co-organising institutions (Stanford CodeX and Liquid Legal Institute)
Sponsors (Law, Tech and LegalTech companies)
Other supporters (public sector, academia)
The hackathon is a great opportunity to:
Apply the LLM technology to legal field
Learn about current challenges, opportunities and market needs
Network with peers, representatives of stakeholders and other guests
Build and pitch solutions in a short period of time
Compete for:
Cash prizes (up to GBP 10,000)
Other rewards (work opportunities, cloud and LLM credits, consulting, mentorship, etc.)

Open to students from all academic backgrounds, particularly those studying law, data science, computer science, engineering, linguistics, criminology, history, and related disciplines.
