Unlocking Growth and Prosperity: Open Networks and AI for the Future Economy

Unlocking Growth and Prosperity: Open Networks and AI for the Future Economy

Open networks are the game-changers. They are not just technology; they are the DNA of a more inclusive, collaborative, and competitive digital future. This workshop will act as a catalyst, accelerating the exploration and adoption of open networks to unlock a win-win for both people and businesses. These technologies hold immense potential to address pressing societal challenges in a cost-effective and collaborative manner, with their applications particularly promising in sectors such as sustainable energy, circular economy, transport, healthcare (NHS digitalisation) and education.

The workshop has been convened by the Innovation Hub for Prosperity at the Cambridge Judge Business School, with the support of four University of Cambridge institutions (King’s College Entrepreneurship Lab, Centre for Science and Policy, Bennett Institute for Public Policy, and Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership) and Amazon Web Services, bringing together the UK Chief Technology Officer, the Permanent Secretary of Trade and Business, and thought leaders such as Sir Geoff Mulgan and Cristina Caffarra, to explore the power of open networks to revolutionise green energy, circularity, healthcare, and more.
