This event is part of the Weekly Brunches with Workshops series. Read more about the programme here.

Entrepreneurial talk: Navigating the Commercialisation Journey: Insights from the Triple Chasm Framework

Many innovative ideas never make it past the starting line—not because they lack potential, but because their creators misunderstand the journey from concept to market. The Triple Chasm Model framework, based on over 10 years of research studying more than 3,000 products, demonstrates how understanding the commercialisation journey and its key stages is crucial for aspiring entrepreneurs. This knowledge helps them transform innovative ideas into market-ready products while ensuring sustainable growth and competitive advantage.

Dr. Uday Phadke is a co-founder and CEO of Triple Chasm, transforming scientific and technological innovations into commercial success. With 30+ years of experience bridging academia and industry, he has founded several technology businesses, including Cartezia, which has helped build >100 companies in the past 20 years. He also served as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Judge Business School, and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA) in 2018. He is the lead author of "Camels, Tigers & Unicorns: Rethinking Science and Technology-enabled Innovation" and "The Scale-up Manual: Handbook for Innovators, Entrepreneurs, Teams and Firms".
