Entrepreneurial talk: In conversation with Gerard Grech (Founders at University of Cambridge)

Gerard Grech is the Managing Director of Founders at the University of Cambridge, leading a strategic initiative to accelerate tech company formation and scaling.

Previously, as founding CEO of Tech Nation, he helped shape Europe's leading digital ecosystem, significantly increasing UK tech unicorns and securing the country's digital leadership. Tech Nation was acquired by Founders Forum Group in 2022 after rapid growth.

Gerard serves on the UK Government's Digital Economy Council and World Economic Forum's Digital Board. His career spans mobile, digital media, and venture capital roles in global cities. He began his career in the music industry.

Technical talk: LLM agents for Autonomous Supply Chains with Maria Minaricova (Fetch.ai)

Maria Minaricova is the Director of Business Development at Fetch.ai, where she leads partnerships across sectors like AI, mobility, and decentralized technology. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Fetch.ai Foundation and is actively involved in European initiatives like Catena-X and Gaia-X.

Fetch.ai is transforming industries with its autonomous agent technology, automating tasks such as optimising supply chains and managing energy systems, partnering with Bosch and Deutsche Telekom.

In an upcoming workshop, Maria and her team will provide hands-on training on building AI agents, focusing on their applications in trading.
