Entrepreneurial talk: In conversation with Philip Winter (Creator Fund)

Philip Winter was the co-founder and former CEO of Nebia, a San Francisco-based consumer hardware startup that designs innovative shower systems with 50% water savings. In 2022, Brondell, a home goods and personal care company co-founded by Mark Cuban, acquired Nebia. Nebia's award-winning and patented shower system designs received over $10 million in crowdfunding on Kickstarter. Their products are in over 100,000 homes and have saved over 500 million gallons of water and 27 million kWh of energy. Nebia received its first investment from Tim Cook (Apple) and also secured funding from Eric Schmidt (Google), Joe Gebbia (Airbnb), and Y Combinator. Before founding Nebia in 2013, Philip lived in Mexico City, where he worked for Endeavor, a global non-profit that helps high-impact entrepreneurs scale their ventures. He holds an MBA at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School and a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
